Company will provide short training sessions to demonstrate industry best practices and the latest developments in creating and verifying QoS implementations for unified communications environments.
HONOLULU, HI, February 17, 2010 – ActionPacked! Networks, announced today that it will demonstrate how to implement Cisco QoS best practices for VoIP, video, and unified communications at VoiceCon 2010. The Honolulu-based developer of all-in-one software for designing, deploying, and troubleshooting networks will conduct the demonstrations using its LiveAction software featuring QoS monitoring, historical playback, and on-the-fly QoS policy creation.
“As enterprises are rolling out more and more real-time services, the demand for network performance and reliability has far surpassed the ability of IT departments to properly manage and guarantee the quality of service that these applications need,” said Nelson Kanemoto, co-founder of ActionPacked! Networks. Despite the many network monitoring options currently on the market, there’s a real scarcity of QoS-focused solutions that provide the awareness, intelligence, and interactivity IT engineers need for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.”
The company’s LiveAction software enables IT engineers to leverage the complex technologies inside their network routers and switches by making individual device features fully accessible and easy to understand using interactive topology visualizations and embedded device expertise.
In addition to QoS monitoring and configuration, LiveAction also includes ActionPacked! Networks’ patented device management technology and “point and click” configuration of access control lists, flow filters, ping, traceroute, built-in CLI access, and other troubleshooting capabilities. The software can operate on a standard PC or server from anywhere on the network eliminating the need for appliances or in-line installations at main and remote branch offices.
IT departments can download a free fourteen-day trial version of the software with its full QoS capabilities from the ActionPacked! web site. A free permanent license for a non-QoS version of LiveAction is also available from the web site through March 31, 2010.
