ActionPacked! Networks to Offer Free Cisco QoS Network Assessments

HONOLULU, HI – November 29, 2010 –ActionPacked! Networks, a leading developer of intelligent software for managing Cisco quality-of-service (QoS), announced today that it will be providing free QoS assessments for qualified participants. The free assessments will be conducted by ActionPacked! systems engineers and will include professional consultation, an automated audit of QoS policies and performance, and a detailed report for network administrators. In addition all participants will receive an extended trial version of the company’s LiveAction QoS management software and a “State of QoS” report providing a summary of all the data collected from the various companies participating in the program.
“We are conducting these assessments to demonstrate how critical it is to verify the performance of quality of service on the network,” said ActionPacked! A key component of the assessment program is the automated QoS policy and performance audit performed using the company’s LiveAction QoS management software. The report finds the QoS policies inside every router and documents them in the report.
“With conventional IOS commands, it would take many hours or even days to collect and organize this much information into a usable report,” said Senior Product Manager Ken Van Orman. “LiveAction can generate a complete and highly detailed report in just a few seconds. It also lists any errors or problems within a policy making them very easy to find, troubleshoot, and fix.”
In addition to the audit report, participants can select a specific router on their network and ActionPacked engineers will generate a 24-hour QoS monitoring report with detailed performance graphs covering the entire time period.

The deadline to apply for a free assessment is December 31, 2010. Once an application is approved, an assessment may be scheduled through March 31, 2011.
